Portfolio: Commissions / Exhibitions
To Evolve beyond our surroundings has always been the philosophy behind our practice. All the pieces you see in these albums were created with that mindframe. And with that as a way of communication, we have been commissioned to help enhance visual experiences for retail spaces as well as private collectors. Our works can be seen at places like Titan, Manila; Bomba Paella Bar, Singapore; Facebook, Singapore; Darkroom Army, Singapore; Blackmarket, Singapore; Surrender, Singapore; GOODSTUPH, Singapore; FICE Gallery, Salt Lake City, and +65 Supper Club, London.
We are also starting to share our works in Art galleries around the world.
We hope you enjoy this Gallery as much as we did painting these pieces - SBTG.

“The leather jacket is a staple for bikers, it serves as an armor and identity. More importantly, its a symbol of will to
go far in his pursuit of freedom and self expression. The back of this jacket would bear a quote that reflects the spirit of a true freedom fighter who would go "Where Eagles Dare". No frills, just barebones.”

Through cultural osmosis, SBTG absorbs influences from both history and their surroundings. With these works on wood, SBTG appropriates various motifs and adroitly juxtaposes them to create a collage of convergence in culture. In Enjoy Napalm (2013), a Lufthansa flight attendant poses before a tropical war scene á la Apocalypse Now with “Enjoy Napalm” in the foreground – these are the imageries skillfully deconstructed then pulled together with playfulness and acerbic wit for a visually arresting articulation of the various recognizable idioms melting into one another.

SBTG for Titan
Retail space; Basketball lifestyle / Barber shop. 2012
The Legacy continues with a store that we consider family. Back in 2010, we designed their brand identity with the lightning fist.
Come 2012, to celebrate the 2nd year anniversary and opening of a brand new Titan Babershop, the opportunity came to explore deeper into the brands DNA with a series of signs that commnuicates what being a titan is all about. We whipped up a series of hand painted wood signs for the Manila based premier basketball lifestyle store. These pieces are gonna be permanently decorating the new Titan starting from the 22nd Nov 2012.

SBTG for Darkroom Army
Retail space; analog cameras 2012
In early 2012, our good friend Phu visited your studio with the good folks of Peek! with the intention of building a new concept showroom for their vintage analog camera range.
During their visit, they decided to take reference from our studio textures to inject into the new space.
We ended up conceptualising and producing the space. The space also consists of a series of acrylic on wood paintings, displayed as a montage that communicates the "war" on keeping analog alive.
