Sign Painting Basics: 14th Nov 2013
As a request by Illustrator's collective 'TYC Studios' (tellyourchildren), SBTG Workshops conducted a special workshop covering the basics of Sign Painting. In the class, we covered selection of typefaces that are enjoyable to paint, transferring your lettering onto a piece of wood and of the actual painting with tips on technique and tools.
During the 3 hour session, the class experienced the joy of painting the curves on the letters with proper brush control.
They ended the session with a montage of signs that holds purpose for their upcoming debut exhibition.

SBTG Corporate Workshops: Nike Stores (Vivo City)

An annual signature event from our Nike Stores, this year, together with Citibank has got together to provide their loyal customers with an opportunity to attend our workshops. Non knowing what to expect, the 10 lucky selected participants showed up and left home smiling with an experience that changed their outlook on sneakers forever.
In this class, we had a good mix individuals and father n son as well as couple teams.

Aside from our public Classrooms, our workshops are also a great hit among Nike Inc's internal staff. Described as our very own Singapore "Kitchen", the EM team got into their creative zones where they drew inspiration from their lives to create their pieces.

We filled a full Classroom this round. All 12 seats. Once again, we hosted an inspiring group that ended the class with amazing energy.

Open House: 5th Sept 2013
On the 5th of Sept, we hosted an open house to showcase the works of the graduates. It was a chilled afternoon for the grads to show off their work to their friends as well as an opportunity for registration.
